For those of you who missed the campaign I started this time last year …CBNC…Chocolate Bunnies No Cruelty, I am just going to remind you, because this week thousands, nay millions of chocolate bunnies will have been   unecessarily eaten alive! Join me. Get a t-shirt, (though there are few left as so many people have joined me on the campaign) make a banner, protest anywhere where the bunnies are being savaged, particularly by the under fives.

Consuming bars of chocolate whole is one thing, but eating chocolate bunnies, I am sorry, it is a different thing all together!  This weekend, all over the world, if you listen hard enough you will hear their screams. I know, I know, I am not  a total innocent in  all this.

Just because I have had no chocolate for a year,  does not mean  that historically I am innocent of crimes against the chocolate bunny and I am aware that in the past I also created misery and pain for the ‘Cuniculus Theobroma Cacao’ family, and for that, I am sorry.

Get a t-shirt (though there are few left as so many people have joined me on the campaign).  I think people don’t realise that a bar of chocolate is one issue, but bunnies have feelings.  This weekend, all over the world, if you listen hard enough you will hear their screams.

I know, I know, I am not innocent in this.

Just because I have had no chocolate for a week and will continue my detox over Easter  does not mean I am innocent of crimes against the chocolate bunny and I am aware that I created misery and pain (see my blog last week, it was vicious).  

On a lighter note, tomorrow is my birthday and the lilac is out, one of the most exquisite fragrances ever! Even though I seem to have put my back out and cannot lie down, and a trip to the osteopath has seemed to have made it worse before it gets better..I have had very little sleep this week, but obviously detoxing helps you conquer the traumas of no sleep…………..ah life…sweet. Happy Days x x x

I  have to started an organisation for the protection of cruelty against chocolate bunnies before their due date.  CBNC is the  name of the society. It stands for Chocolate Bunnies – No Cruelty, and the t-shirts are available in  dark, milk and white chocolate brown.

I urge you to spread the word, especially at this dark time  of the year, when chocolate bunnies all over the world are being devoured prematurely by people with no self -restraint, manners or empathy for the shortened life-span of the chocolate Easter Bunny. If life were not hard enough for the Easter Bunny anyway, it is just getting harder when people are tucking into their bunnies  way before they should be, and often in such a furtive, secretive  and underhand way – under tables. behind closed doors, in the silence of the night.

So support us in our quest to end cruelty to the Easter Bunny so at Easter all our lives will be bathed in light, re-birth and melted chocolate.

So it is official. I am calling the authorities. There is a leg thief in the house. For the time up to Easter, when the  ‘ickle lambs are frollicking in the fields, and I am counting steps round the park  in the glorious sunshine …my Bunny will have to stay at home with a little blanket around the place where his legs and  lower torso used to be. Bunny is now on the sofa in front of day-time tv because, what with all the trauma that is all he can stomach ( if he indeed had a stomach). I may have to start an organisation for the protection of cruelty against chocolate bunnies before their due date. In fact it is hatching as we speak. Watch this space…And all you premature Easter Bunny Eaters…your chocolate munching days are numbered.
