Hallo this will be the place to see how the book is going and how on earth the idea started and how it is coming together. This is possibly more to keep me on track. but also a lovely place to see how and why.
When I published 130 songs on al the streaming sites on 30th January 2026 it was complete madness. I was quite happy that I got a few lovely reviews https://www.fatea-records.co.uk/magazine/reviews/GitikaPartington/
But social media ain’t what it used to be. So many friends only post and don’t look, look and don’t post, have given up and don’t look at all. My Facebook page has about a dozen stalwarts who keep me going. All in all the idea of putting out this silly amount of songs in one day was just to buck all algorhythmic trends and just set the songs free.
SO I have now got 127 will friends who are in the process of writing one of the lyrics in a fun and creative way, then taking a photo of their environment, a bit of themselves and a voice memo of them speaking the song. Got to find 3 more and there may still be a few drop outs…
TODAY I have had the first three finished songs so , Sheena , Winston and Kim get metaphorical Gold Silver and Bronze medals for getting to the finish line first and everyone will of course get a gold star….

What absolute Joy when a new song comes through…so 127 more nuggets of joy to come….
Also everyone is sending me a photo of a little section of them, something round where they are writing and a voice memo of themselves speaking the song like a poem for a shopping list….this is all really exciting and hopefully will turn into another piece of art…..
