RAIN OF TERRIER

Yup…Mr P’s Rain of Terrier is over and I am back! Very sorry for anyone who took us literally. The fact was, it was a cardboard lion, not a real one, and the only harm done was  that the week Mr P. had his  ‘guest spot’ I have more hits on my site than at any other time  in its history.  He has been given, and accepted his award and is now sadly on his way to start his own blog in the privacy of his own site, thanks very much….shut the door on your way out!

Mr. P RECEIVING HIS GUEST BLOGGER AWARD

So watch out, it might be your turn to have a guest spot next! It seemed like a best way to teach him how to work out the wordpress blog was to get him behind the wheel and leave him to it! I vetted his language and punctuation once or twice, but it was all his own work – he just ran with the ball and created a veritable storm. I believe a huge round of applause in order, clapping  . We will be re-joining Mr. P later in the season.  All that talk of unison singing and trying to teach children to sing! Ha!

Anyway, it is good to be back, and you will be pleased that there  will be no more of that alternative shoe gazing music…back to the records.

SONG OF THE DAY – Jessie J. – Domino

33 million hits of youtube.  Just in case you have missed it, been sleeping under a rock -give it a whirl. Saw her singing it live on Jonathan Ross. Wow she is one proper singer. I woke up singing this and it has been in my head all day…..pop music…dancing round the kitchen…can’t beat it!

So here we are again Mr P Blogging in for Gitika looks like I get one more day.

Gitika it turns out has had a nasty reaction to the pills  (smarties) prescribed to her and has fallen into a deep depression. `The only thing she will get out of bed for is to stand in the snow while singing some song about caravans and deserts. She has really annoyed the birds and scared the neighbours.

So theme …  Nature. Well being a landscape gardener I have many photos of gardens and such, but this photo shows a flower of a Gunnera maculata. It’s a dirty big thug of a plant that I never get to use as most London gardens are not big enough to house this 10feet high by 20feet across. This photo is of one I found in a 3 Acre private garden in Shropshire.

Gunnera

Pretty flower methinks.

The kite flyers

Now as for photo of the day this is a photo taken of two boys and their dad kite flying on top of Nordy Bank a iron age hill fort in Shropshire . I loved the way each person had there own sized kite which reflected their own size.

Whoops got to go I can hear Gitika in the garden and its late, I wonder if she remembered to put shoes on this time.
