There is a  wonderful  new goat  in the City of London, well it has been there since January and obvioulsy I have been walking around with my head in a wellington, but yesterday with the bright sunshine – I suddenly noticed it …and a damned fine piece of work it is! I love the quote  “Goats are associated with non-conformity and being independently-minded. That is also true of London, it’s people and never more so than in Spitalfields.” said artist Kenny Hunter at the official unveiling on 20 January 2011.

SO make sure you don’t miss it next time you are in Brushfield Street .

And onto my  SONG OF THE DAYTHERE’S A GOAT IN MY HOUSE (weak …really weak…sorry though actually it might be quite funny to do a spoof with a goat))

no really……

SONG OF THE DAY THERE’S A GHOST IN MY HOUSE –  R.DEAN TAYLOR it was released in the 60’s and then again in the 70’s when it was re-recorded.
This got into the Top 5 in the UK in spring 1974 when “Seasons In The Sun” topped the charts and around the same time was Lulu’s “Man Who Sold The World” and Sparks “This Town Ain’t Big Enough…”
