It has been 10 months since I put the finishing touches to my extraordinary crochet project. I crocheted a large double blanket in pure wool, using Rowan Colourscape. The blanket has kept me toasty all winter. Obviously, needed a break after that mammoth expedition into the world of crochet (not to be confused with the world of crotchet which is far more treacherous)
So I am off! Having ordered this fab cotton, and waited months for it’s arrival, and then three balls not arriving for anther couple of months until I reminded them, I have finally started my rainbow crochet hexagrams. I found the pattern on a lovely crochet blog, which I shall not mention unless you really push me, because it is too perfect and too popular. Their lifestyle is being sold and we all want it! I really want to see the person in question’s house on a bad day, when the partner and kids have got the flu and the dog needs to go to the vet and the washing up has not been done for three days. Not that I am jealous of the marvellous looking lifestyle (yeh , right!) , but I think there has to be a backstage of madness behind all that order and beauty…or maybe I am the only messy one round here.
So the hexagons begin……watch this space…ha ha ha …paint drying might be more fun…Peace and Love x x
